About EED
The Department of Environmental Engineering has ten full-time faculty members and five research assistants dedicated to research and also education of more than 200 undergraduate students and 20 graduate students. The education in the department prepares students for leadership in the profession of environmental engineering. Career opportunities are very strong because of the many pressing needs to improve and expand the infrastructure and protect the environment.
The EED have three research and one teaching laboratory providing opportunities for hands-on experience for all students. As Antalya lies along the Mediterranean cost as an important destination for tourism, the need for sustainable use of environmental resources gives opportunities for our students to experience ground-breaking local environmental engineering projects and participate in professional activities.
