Major Daoist temples agreed in 2007 to undertake audits of their landuse, sanitation, water, incense and other environmental management features. This is the audit, in Chinese and English.

Oslo process: November 2006 meeting summary (1080 KB)
In November 2006 Oslo hosted a historic meeting between donor countries, faith representatives and international agencies such as the World Bank, UNDP, and UNICEF. The meeting, brokered by ARC working with the Norwegian Government, is a critical early step in increasing the impact of faiths in tackling climate change, poverty and other key current issues. In Autumn 2008 ARC contacted 200 faithbased Retreat Centres in the UK, to ask if they would like to form an informal eco network. The response has been encouraging. Many centres are going along similar paths and facing similar issues, but there has never before been a network enabling them to learn from each other’s creative ideas about how to tread more softly on the earth.
